Introducing Lime Avenue
The Lime Avenue at Syon Park is an historic carriageway where visitors to The London Classic Car Show will revel in the amazing sights and sounds of past and present cars in glorious action. Many of the incredible machines starring in our specially curated content features celebrating ‘The Evolution of Design’ will be revving up to the delight of all-comers. It won’t be fast, but it will be spectacular. Just imagine seeing an 1886 three-wheel Benz PatentWagon, widely regarded as the first motorcar, driving alongside the very latest hypercar. Or the incredibly rare sight of the one-off 1896 Salvesen Steam Car brewing up alongside a potent Porsche 964 Turbo from the 1990s.
The picturesque Lime Avenue will display our full range of stand-out cars from the earliest Horseless Carriages and brutal Aero-Engine Monsters of the early 1910s right up to the latest modern day Hypercars. The evocative eras betwixt splendidly represented by the Stylish and Elegant coach-built cars of the 20s and 30s, the American hotrods and V8 muscle cars from the 50s and 60s, the fearsome Endurance Racing Cars of the 60s and 70s and the overdesigned, square, turbocharged Supercars of the 80s and 90s.
The unmissable track shows will be staged twice a day on all three days of the event. Engines will first be fired up between 12h45 and 13h30, then again between 15h30 and 16h15. Be there!
